TriBes – The Pieces
The TriBes belong to the family of PolyBes. An n-Be is a solid derived from an n-cube by removing half of each unit cube in such a way that at least one half-area connection remains (following Andrew Clarke’s The Poly Pages).
There exist: 3 DiBes, 17 TriBes, 190 TetraBes, and 2,190 PentaBes.
TriBe-Puzzle
There are 17 TriBes, and since each TriBe equals 1.5 cube units, they amount to a total of 25.5 cube units.
To build a 3×3×3 cube from the TriBes, the TriBe puzzle presented on this website was extended by one additional piece, which is itself made from three half-cubes.
