Trihalfhexes consist of three connected half-hexagons that fit precisely into the hexagonal grid shown. There are 15 distinct tri-half-hexes. They belong to the family of polyhalfhexes—composite shapes made from half hexagons.

In total, the following sets are known: 5 dihalfhexes, 15 trihalfhexes, 82 tetrahalfhexes, and 429 pentahalfhexes.

The underlying triangular grid allows shapes with up to six axes of reflection and six-fold rotational symmetry.

A fully symmetrical shape – that is, one that actually attains this maximum symmetry – is not known for the complete set of all 15 Trihalfhex pieces.

The 3D-print templates consist of the 15 Trihalfhex puzzle pieces and a box.
