OctaPentas – a puzzle based on regular octagons and pentagons

The OctaPenta grid consists of regular octagons and pentagons. The ratio is 1:4: for every octagon, there are four pentagons.

There are 13 different OctaPenta forms: six Di-OctaPentas, each made up of one octagon and two pentagons, and seven Tri-OctaPentas, each made up of one octagon and three pentagons.

Nine of these 13 forms were selected for the puzzle.

3D-Printed Puzzle

The 3D-printed puzzle consists of nine selected OctaPenta pieces. The Polysolver program was used during development. This puzzle is one of the more challenging puzzles in the collection.
